hey all,

Another question from me.

I am rebuilding my wiper motor and need to know the model it would be.
It has three brushes and the metal disk on the back of the cog so it is meant to be the aussie one. Do these come in different model numbers or just one aussie one? Anyone know what it would be? I would look at it but wanted the parts for this weekend and it is about 160k's from me at the moment.

heres a pic... of the entire engine bay....

Cheers
David

If it's got 3 brushes and out of a Clubby the big gear should have 105 on it. That's the sweep angle the wipers get when assembled.
The 1 speed version of this motor had a 110° gear. NOT the 2 speed.

Actually the plastic gears themselves are the same, but the 110 drive plate in it has the crankpin a bit further out on the plate than the 105 so = longer stroke of the cable.

Take no notice of the numbers on the cover plate, people swap them to get the build dates right on their pukka restos.

Hey Doc,

the guy I want to get brushes from wants to know the model it is to give me the right brushes. You wouldn't happen to know that the one for a clubman that is round( the wiper motor not the clubman), has three brushes, auto parks and looks like mine? does a website exist for this as well?

Cheers
D
