ok so i got myself a moke.
Its got rust in the floor on the right hand side of the front seat and im wondering whats the best wayof going about removing it, should i go ahead and cut the whole lets say a meter long strip of about 10cm up the side and 10cm across the floor and get a strip of metal welded in or is the something in not concidering here?? also has anyone got any idea what its gonna cost me if i get a shop to do it if i cant?

long strips are doable, but have to be done properly. Depending in the position, panel warping is a major concern, the same with deseaming. Backing plates may be considered, again, depending on position, for strength issues!
Pernonally I would avoid doing long strips and do smaller sections at a time.
I am deseaming my "grunt", a necessary evil I am afraid (better to see it deseamed than on a scrap heap!), and to do just approx. 1 foot of deseaming (6 inches at a time!), takes at least 4 hours.
Done properly takes a lot of time!
The longer it will take, the more it will cost you!

My Moke is like that, I got 2 angles bent up at 70° from 1.5mm zincseal, with 65mm flanges.
One side is cut out but I won't get back to it until next year.

its just started 2 eat into the battery box but the other boxes are fineish the front box has a tiny hole but it aint bad
