I've seen 5/16" and 3/8" cutters advertised and wonder what size you need for Minis and Mokes ? |

David, I would say it depends on how good you are at finding the centre of the spot! 5/16" would be good if you are sure of hitting the centre every time!! Dave |

I haven't heard anything good about those, but some pretty bad press, mainly in the life of the cutters. Spot weld drills, i.e. a drill with a little drill centre and then flat cutting area out to the diametre, are much better. Frost in the UK have them but you may be able to find them locally. I wouldn't worry about finding the centre exactly each time, as you'll be able to break the little weld that remains; it won't be very strong. |

The point is that you have to decide where centre is, not always easy. Dave |

I had to get a 8mm puntlaasboor because they don't believe in the empire here ![]() It did the drip rails just fine. ![]() |
