I have just changed the shifter in the panelvan to a KAD quick shift, once it was installed it didnt select gears to well, especially 3rd.( rod change box)
So I changed it back to the old sloppy shifter, reinstalled the pins ect.
but it doesnt seem to select 1st or 2nd gear.
it selects 3rd,4th and reverse with out pulling the shift upwards.

Any ideas on what i have done wrong when reinstalling.
It worked perfectly before removing the original time.
Hope someone can help

The actual selector rod may have turned upside down, take the gearstick out and see if the end of the selector is the right way up.

It should look like a small eggcup with a hole in the bottom, if its just a hole in the top, take the pin out at the gearbox, turn the rod 180 degrees and put it all back.
