i was just wondering what colour the people in ausmini think would look the best on the engine going in my clubman. im leaning towards black and leaving gearbox and cover silver,or even red with gearbox and cover black. any suggestions and pictures would be appreciated.

Early Clubbies had a blue motor, later Leyland Minis had black motors.

yes , but i really think the cooper s shade would not suit in a clubby. and im defiantly dont plan on oil leaks for a long time.

I reckon that the stock Clubby blue looks neat but for some reason it makes the motor look smaller.
My race engines used to all be black. They were a pain in the bum because you could never see where the oil was coming from.
