hey guys, getting ready for hay, and the mini isnt running quite right.

i have had it to my local mechanic, who is a whizz with sus and has worked on alot of minis over time, hes old by the way!

he has adjusted the timinga nd mixture, and we have tried a different needle, (the one su midel suggested)

it has a flat spot, from idle it soudns awesome but when u gas it it farts, back off give it some small revs and your ok. it seems like it clears its throat.

its ok once your driving but moving off is hard.

looking at his notes it mentions a 10o wonder in the timing at idle.

i dont want to spend alot of money on this motor because it will be replaced in july.

im thinking the dizzy is stufed, and may be time to borrow, or get a pulsar one?
tips tricks suggestions ideas?

its a 998 running extractors and 1 1/2 su

cheers jamie

Mine carries on like that when it's a bit lean. Try pulling the choke on a little to see if that helps
