Does any one know how to fit a rotisserie to a late model clubman which does not have the hole thru the boot or behind the speedo? |

You would want a plate with 8 holes and a pin or bolt, so you can stop it at say 45° intervals. <edit> like this-

Brackets on each end of the car to hold the spit bar, attach the brackets to the shock mounts on either end, there nice and solid. Someone on here has posted pics before. |

I have one at home that I can take pics of to show you. It has two bars which are bolted onto the car on the engine bay and inside the boot. uses the subframe mounts. Then these poles go into the stands. |

thanks I would like to see photos if possible. I had thought about two bars, 1 bolting to the front towers mounts and the other to the rear shock absorber points. I would assume it would need to be reasonable strong and firmly bolted otherwise it may end up distorting the body mounting points as the body would be providing the support and strength in place of the full length pole. |

Thanks. Looks like I have another little project to build some thing to suit a late model clubman. Other option may be to push the body onto some old tyres. But this is not a flexible as the rotisserie. |

I can lend you mine if you like how it looks in the pics. WIll post pics up tonight if its not raining. It has the two stands which you use for the 'rotissery' bit, the poles you connect to the car, then it has wheels which you connect to the car as well. Only issues with it being 1. One of the welds is half broke... doesnt mean anything, but if you want to borrow it, I will ask if you can reweld it for me 2. The wheels need oil... but I can do that. 3. Its needs a clean... Oh and I dont need it for a while so you can borrow it pretty much indefinitely if you want. |
