...and to run it, just wire from the + jumper lead to the coil + terminal. To stop it, pull the earth jumper off the motor.
I hang a 5L jerrycan on the wall and gravity feed the fuel to the carby..
If the alternator is on the motor, you won't hurt it by spinning it, AS LONG AS no wires are connected to it at all.
