A wrecker gave me mine. ![]() It was in a front end crash and the cap and rotor were smashed, the top of the shaft had a burr to stop a new rotor fitting and the pickups were twisted. It took about half an hour to fix and another half hour to fit. I was quoted $95 from another wrecker for one and $45 at another place. |

I have a sad story. Went to one wrecker and quoted $65, went back a week later and it was sold. Went to a dozen more wreckers even a jap specialist, could not find one. Even went into this guy by the side of the road who must have had at least 50 dizzies in the back of a ute, couldn't find one. At long last found one at a wrecker and since I started to think this was the last one in existence I paid $115 for it. They just don't exist in the Newcastle NSW area. |

spotted a pulsar in a paddock that had been used as a paddock car and abandoned. Knocked on the farmhouse door and was told I could take whatever I wanted off it ![]() |

'Bout 2 years ago I bought one for $50 (might have been $40) already converted. Worth 4 times that. |

Same as Ty - ABC Wreckers usually ask you when you bring the stuff to the counter "How much were you quoted" - so you tell them ![]() ![]() |

Next best thing is stick an electronic conversion kit in a Lucas dizzy. See the `cheap electronic ignition' thread here- http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=46221 |
