Hey guys. I'm looking to do the timing on the 77 clubman S. i cant find the timing light>>> anyone know the location???

There is a pointer in the clutch housing (behind that little cover) and marks on the flywheel.
Later motors also had a notch on the crank pulley and marks on the timing cover.

if you cant see the numbers you can make it out by the triangle of the diaphram if you know what your looking for.

The flywheel is often rusty and when moving, the marks can be next to impossible to see. What I do is get the engine to TDC on #1 cylinder so you can see the marks through the hole in the clutch cover, then put a dot over them with some liquid paper. Makes 'em stand out like dogs balls 8)
