Guys.... Does any one know any one who sells em in Vic , i can only seem to find em over the border What price is a good price and if any one has pics of the replacement panels (f&r&l&r) so i can see whats got to be removed and what stays. Are the early clubman pans different to the later clubbies?? |

Yours will have a centre floor tunnel for the remote change gearbox, from 73 onwards the Clubmans had a rod change gearbox and a different floor pan. You may find you have to get a later Clubman floor pan and sheet metal your own tunnel to suite, if your car has dry rubber cone suspension it has been changed from a Hydrolastic suspension, your should have hydrolastic and there is another change to the floor pan with the hydro pipes and fittings,I think the Clubmans moved to rubber cones late 72. So you have two things different for your floor pan ! |

ALL floor pan pressings in Oz were the same from 1967 to 1978. The only variations were the gearshift cutouts. These pans all had hydro channels in them, right to the end of production. Australia never got the UK floor with the square tunnel. Our rodchange floor (~74 on) had a couple of bumps and holes added for the rodchange shifter mounts, but even it still had the hump on the right where the 850 starter button used to be. When buying replacement UK pans you will find they don't match these Australian floors, except the UK `pre-rodchange' front pan is `nearly' right for Oz pre-67 floors. The UK rodchange replacement pans just don't fit our floors at all. Best way to fix a late Oz floorpan is cut up a donor car..... ![]() |

Thanks Doc, I could have sworn the floor pans were different. So the man needs a good floor pan of any year and away he goes. |

See other thread. The floorpans are the same, as Doc said. The car in question SHOULD NOT have hydrolastic. It is a base model Mini 1100 and had dry suspension. Only the Clubman and Clubman GT had the hydro (in the square-front body). Cheers, Watto. |
