I have had a bad experience with a ebay member, I won the bid on a 1988 black rover mini. The seller refuses to tell me the location of the vehicle or show it to me, lucky I did not pay him yet. I have reported him to ebay trust & safety Department. Just be aware , there may be a possible scam or a dodgee dealer just waiting to take your money. |

I know a guy who did actually go and see the car in question, and walked away thinking something was suss too. Sorry, I don't have a link or item number or anything though. All I know is it was an uncomplied car. |

Was it this one? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Rover-Mini_W0QQi ... 7C294%3A50 …..I was watching this one but it was an auto and not complied so I didn’t bid….I did notice that the ad said “I was offered a Trade-in from Adelaide for A$ 5000.00”…so I wonder if the seller didn’t get quite what they were looking for in terms of a final price….. |

This car has a black flag at Vic Roads as someone has got a dodgy rwc and tried to register it without it being complied:!: |

The person in question called me at 3pm and asked did I still wont the mini. my reply is not fit to be printed. Beware of the deals that are too good to be true on ebay. Thanks to all who have replied and looked. |

Even if the guy's a tosser, the car should still be redeemable. A black flag doesn't mean it can't be registered, just that they will look at it more carefully than most. With a proper engineers certificate and non-dodgy RWC it should be okay to register. |

the car would certainly be redeemable, but i reackon it would be pretty costly especially if it has the do adr 37 which for those that dont know, its a full emissions test which at $1500 alone might make this a pretty expensive car in the end. |
