So im driving along last nite. ANd everything is happy and all of a sudden everything went dark. Stupid light switch, dodgiest design. Its popped from the inside. (third one for me). Had to wire it to the spotlight switch on the panel instead. Cant get them new can you?, Anybody got any? ive got none left. |

yep thats the dodgy mofo. Stupid slider inside it. And the clips on the outside arent strong enough for the spring on the slider. |

If I was you, I'd replace with a quality switch and a relay, piss that other crap off. |

Are you running headlight relays? Are you running standard headlights? If you're running uprated headlights without relays the extra current load through the switch could be causing failure. Extra heat making plastic soft, arcing etc. Could be worth a thought before you blow up more switches |

id like to keep it original. but i might look at modding the switch to hold a switch inside it. So it looks right on the outside. |

Wire in relays, it can be hidden to look factory. The switches even with standard spec lights go brittle. I've have one fall appart at the most annoying time. |

New rocker switches last for years, s/h ones last far less before they pop apart. But yeah they are bloody flimsy compared to the old roundy's toggle switch. |
