just starting to fit the new ball joints

what type and grade grease do you guys recommend for new ball joints?

I use whatever EP2 lithium grease is cheapest in cartridge form.
I've found buying them from a BP servo is cheaper now than Supercrap.

what do you use in wheel bearings.

I used moly in the ball joints, but i used caltex HTB in the bearings.

Castrol HTB in the bearings, LMM in CVs.

Steering racks I use Castrol LSX90. It's an LSD diff oil, has additives for metal to metal sliding contact- good for where the rack slides on the steel pressure pad.

That's good, I still have a bottle of LSX90 left over from the HQ race car (but don't HQs run open diffs? 8) :lol: )

I thought they used no oil at all in the diff so it welds itself up after a couple of corners...
