What's the minimum thickness you can machine S discs to? My father in law bought a stack of stuff today, and amongst it were some S discs, nicely machined....but they look pretty thin! ![]() Got lotsa stuff today....like kids in a candy store ![]() |

They are 3/8" (9.5mm) thick when new, wear limit is 8mm. ![]() |

I have run with them that thin, they still stopped me at Wakefield Pk. But if they are worn and need machining, chuck 'em. ![]() |

these have been freshly machined to 7mm. I'll tell him to keep for spares.... ![]() He finally got his complete S discs for Redmond, these were spare discs only floating around with the stack of other stuff. |
