What's the minimum thickness you can machine S discs to?
My father in law bought a stack of stuff today, and amongst it were some S discs, nicely machined....but they look pretty thin!
Got lotsa stuff today....like kids in a candy store

They are 3/8" (9.5mm) thick when new, wear limit is 8mm.

I have run with them that thin, they still stopped me at Wakefield Pk. But if they are worn and need machining, chuck 'em.

these have been freshly machined to 7mm. I'll tell him to keep for spares....
He finally got his complete S discs for Redmond, these were spare discs only floating around with the stack of other stuff. |

Raymond's previous S discs are in Barney now, so `ner ner ni ner ner' too..

Lance has a Graham Russel 1100 to go in Redmond.......very keen to put that on the dyno when it's running. No idea what to expect, so it might be a nice surprise
