Post subject:  1-3/4 su question

I have found a couple of su's, and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on them. meaning good, bad, etc, etc.
the numbers stamped on the bodies are;

* AUD425f
* AUDPDC2
* AUD9

Any ideas? Not knowing su's, are any of them hif44's?

not sure if this will help you with the numbers but this is a great thread for identifying carbys. http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=53394.

With a hot cam, some head work, bigger valves etc, nice flowing manifold, a decent set of flowing extractors, some more compression, a decent dizzy graphed to suit & maybe a bell mouth inlet inside a really large un-restricted air filter ayys & yep,,, would work great... for a small bore :-)

What, all three of them? :lol:
In my view one of them would be way too much unless it was a very worked engine.
