Gday. Hoping someone can tell me the part number / size / designation for the globes fitted to the Cooper S speedo. AFAIK there are four the same - two for illumination, a high beam warning and an ignition warning. Even if you could tell me that they are bayonet or screw in, that would be helpful. I also wouldn't mind knowing abot the separate green indicator lights (Mk2 only). Thanks a lot. Matt |

Edison screw and 3 Watts for the center binnacle instruments. The mk1 Arm had a very small edison screw of low wattage as well, I don't know what value it was, maybe 1.5 watts or similar.. |

Pretty sure you can get these at Dick Smiths or Jaycar. |

i had hassles getting them off the floor at the auto shops. Edison screw is getting to be an oddity these days. I got mine from an auto spark (who had to dig pretty deep to find them as well.) Jaycar do indeed have them, and that way you can order enough for the rest of you life too...I wasted lot of fuel plugging around to find them... ![]() |

I saw in a forum somewhere (UK?) where someone used a green LED in the MK1 indicator stalk - I wasn't interested at the time as I had just overhauled mine |

Give him a buzz or PM him on here and he will help you out. |

I'm gonna do that for my traveller - make an alloy end, put an LED in it and and glue the green dome on |

Thanks a lot to all for the constructive replies. I reckon it's off to Mini King to get the right ones, without trapsing all over town explaining myself to the local spare parts mobs. Cheers Matt |

Lucas the Prince of Darkness always used 2.2 Watt screw type globes in Dash Lights and warning lamps and they are still available even in Narva. |
