ive just done the timing, points and rocker clearences on meeni and now the car starts up.. runs a little rough for about 5 seconds then goes fine for about 30 seconds.. then goes lumpy again and stops

im an idiot so i cant work it out, ive tried messing with the timing etc but i dont want to make things worse so il ask here

anyone know what this is..

btw it drove to work today but was lumpy then cleared itself out.. but since i "tuned" it its a bit average.. i dont think its blocked fuel because it will start straight up again just runs bad then good then bad then stops

pretty generalised question, but still,,, Did you clean the new points contact surfaces before you fitted them???
