Post subject:  Videos on the Cobar to Wilcannia stretch

Uploaded a couple of videos of the outback, just give some of you guys an idea of how remote the drive i have just taken is.

These are taken between Cobar and Broken Hill, with only Emmdale Roadhouse and Wilcannia inbetween, the stretch of road wasnt as remote as bourke but is very close.

Few hundred kilomtres between towns, and Emmdale is a fuel stop with food.

I did that trip (going and coming back) a couple of months ago but not in a mini.Theres really not much out there and we were warned not to stop overnight in Wilcannia :? I wouldn't attempt it in my mini.

Are there still heaps of goats about. :D

Read my article on the Bourke run through Brewarrina, they tried to get into my car while it was moving.

A young Tray from Bourke. there are some cool aboriginal kids out there.

Still glad i didnt break down in Wilcannia, which was more than possible.

And goats, i was on side of road chatting with this guy, out comes the gun, BAM, goat for his dinner. Heaps of goats out there.

Post subject:  MORE UPDATES

Just uploaded some galleries.

http://www.googajoob.com/v3/index.php?module=image&node=gallery&page=display

Check out full galleries of the Gundabooka National Park and my run from Cobar to the Emmdale Roadhouse. Outback road with LOOOOOOOOONG distances between towns.

Emmdale is just a small Roadhouse for fuel and food, but you dont want to stop in Wilcannia, fuel is almost 2.00 a litre there. Reason, aboriginals sniff petrol, so they put price up.

So if you ever drive the Cobar to Broken Hill run, you want to stop at Emmdale where the fuel is normal price for the outback at 1.25 litre.

Enjoy pics, more articles and pics very shortly.

I really really enjoyed this section of the drive, the Great Ocean Road.

Some of the nicest driving roads ive been on so far. Lots of good scenery and just awesome for a small car.

http://www.googajoob.com/v3/index.php?m ... lleryid=12

I think i might do the reverse trip along the Ocean Road on my way to Adelaide next week.

Enjoy some more pics.

I need to still go over some stuff from Mildura, Renmark, Horsham, Stawell, and Ararat. From Ararat i went to Warrnambool and then the Ocean Road into Melbourne.

Also looking forward to Mini50 this weekend.
