Any one with a nice pic of an 850 with a windscreen visor on?
What is the general feeling towards them? Too ugly to mention?

The only reason I have one on my MK II S is because I'm restoring it back to as close as it was in its first life as a NSW Police pursuit car. Police Minis were fitted with a mesh sunscreen and driver's door windshield to try and keep the car cool, particularly in Summer in outback NSW (no air conditioning back in 1970).

My grunt came with one (not attached), and figured if I'm goin to bring the venetians back to life, might consider the visor as well.
They do look a little ugly dont they. Still considering though!

There's a mesh one on a Mini at Kelly's Wreckers at Zillmere in Brisbane. It's a bit bent, but looks salvageable. I saw it late last week.

Got one already, not mesh type, just wanted to see some examples.
Not many examples so far. Could this be a sign? :D

Grab the brackets, they are harder to get than the visor.
I have one on my mini and I like the look of it.Saves me having to use the internal visor which is a bit stiff and threating to fall off.

You can get the brackets quite easily, they come with a new visor.
Autocables makes them, they come in Mesh and Solid

Brackets? Will have to check mine out. It does have a piece either end bent at 90 degrees wuth two holes. Is this what you mean? Or am I missing an "adaptor"?

I asked them once about getting brackets for the old visor I had and they said they wouldn't fit and they only sell them with a new visor anyway.
In the end I got given another visor which had the brackets so I now have a visor on but one I still can't use. Most of the ones I see for sale don't have them.
