ive just done the timing, points and rocker clearences on meeni and now the car starts up.. runs a little rough for about 5 seconds then goes fine for about 30 seconds.. then goes lumpy again and stops im an idiot so i cant work it out, ive tried messing with the timing etc but i dont want to make things worse so il ask here anyone know what this is.. btw it drove to work today but was lumpy then cleared itself out.. but since i "tuned" it its a bit average.. i dont think its blocked fuel because it will start straight up again just runs bad then good then bad then stops |

pretty generalised question, but still,,, Did you clean the new points contact surfaces before you fitted them??? |

the long and extremely hard to explain way lol.. i know i did them right ive done them alot, i think ive worked it out, timing was out by a fair bit... i did it wrong
