Hey guys i just recently tried installing some motorbike license plate LED's to replace the number plate flap and light on my clubman. i cant seem to get 12v to the lights, i checked all the fuses everything seems sweet, also my dash lights have gone, is there maybe something they have in common that i could check out? |

If you have a clubman, theres a inline fuse behind the switch panel, this id power for the dash,park,tail & no plate lights. Doogie |

They can be hard to find as they were moved around a bit during the mini's build time , most commonly in the engine bay up high behind the air cleaner under the scuttle panel but can be across by the wiper motor or the master cylinders and also can be inside behind the instrument cluster .... |

A pity they never put them in roundies, it would have saved many a fried red wire down to the rear lights! Mine has a 10A one now, behind the switch.

I bought a mk II 'S' loom (alternator model) from the UK and it included the fuse. I still managed to destroy the whole inline fusebox when I wired up the number plate wrong  .
I've now changed over to a 15 amp fuse instead of the standard 35 amp. Shouldn't happen again |

Sweet got it working, it was a dicky fuse, it looked completely fine then i put a multimeter across it and there was no continuity. thanks guys ill post up a pic when they are installed properly. |
