Any one with a nice pic of an 850 with a windscreen visor on? What is the general feeling towards them? Too ugly to mention? |

The only reason I have one on my MK II S is because I'm restoring it back to as close as it was in its first life as a NSW Police pursuit car. Police Minis were fitted with a mesh sunscreen and driver's door windshield to try and keep the car cool, particularly in Summer in outback NSW (no air conditioning back in 1970). ![]() |

My grunt came with one (not attached), and figured if I'm goin to bring the venetians back to life, might consider the visor as well. They do look a little ugly dont they. Still considering though! |

There's a mesh one on a Mini at Kelly's Wreckers at Zillmere in Brisbane. It's a bit bent, but looks salvageable. I saw it late last week. |

Got one already, not mesh type, just wanted to see some examples. Not many examples so far. Could this be a sign? ![]() |

Grab the brackets, they are harder to get than the visor. I have one on my mini and I like the look of it.Saves me having to use the internal visor which is a bit stiff and threating to fall off. |

You can get the brackets quite easily, they come with a new visor. Autocables makes them, they come in Mesh and Solid |

Brackets? Will have to check mine out. It does have a piece either end bent at 90 degrees wuth two holes. Is this what you mean? Or am I missing an "adaptor"? |

Autocables makes them, they come in Mesh and Solid I asked them once about getting brackets for the old visor I had and they said they wouldn't fit and they only sell them with a new visor anyway. In the end I got given another visor which had the brackets so I now have a visor on but one I still can't use. Most of the ones I see for sale don't have them. |
