The ritual evisceration of the prey, originally performed immediately after the kill to prevent the spirits from claiming the carcass, was accompanied by the tribesmen chanting "MOWOG!"

that makes perfect sense, after litterally gutting the opposition on the racetrack, the surrounding african tribesmen start chanting "MOWOG MOWOG MOWOG MOWOG MOWOG"

Isnt it the name of that big silverback gorilla that whangs up all the nuts past the point of no return therefore making their removal nigh on impossible???

Or is it Morris and Worsley Garages?? - I prefer the ape myself

What does MOWOG mean?

This mysterious inscription is found on many Mini parts.

MOWOG stands for Morris Wolseley Garages, a company set up to supply parts to BMC (the original name of British Leyland, later Austin-Rover/Rover/etc).

I can tell you exactly what it stands for...

For years growing up if one of us (my two brothers and I) were hogging the lounge or driveway we'd say 'Move Over Wog'
