This cold weather is both horrible to me, and to the car. The dew in the mornings is now making everything squeak in the front. I sprayed some WD in around everything suspension wise, and it went away for a bit, but a day or two later its back again, what can i spray in there that wont eat the rubbers and will stop the damn squeaky noise. Its annoying every bump in the road the mini replies like a mouse on steroids. |

Try front knuckle joint , just spray the wd40 into the cup where the knuckle on the end of the alloy trumpet/hi-lo sits in the upper suspension arm and see if that stops the squeak . The knuckle sits in a nylon cup in the suspension arm and when the nylon wears out it grinds into the arm squeaking all the way . If the wd40 stops the squeak then it's only temporary and means you'll have to change the knuckle joint soon . |

Old school - shaved candle wax and paraffin oil mixed to a thick paste- apparently used in the Redex Trials to do the same thing. |

My left-front squeaks like an old Holden.. it's got a seized upper arm pin and I CBF sorting it out because it'll probably have to be cut out... |
