Hi :)

Trying to find out the colour code for Camden Cream... an original colour used on australian production Morris Minors in the early 60's....

Any help or leads to where I can find out would be greatly appreciated :D

Awesome, thanks for the help.

What Im curious about, though, how does that 'shade number' apply now? Is that useable to obtain that colour paint?

Camden Cream
Colour number 526-09724
Mix formula:
Tinter / Setting
19206 / 435
00740 / 458
05440 / 484
00744 / 500

0% lead content.

From Dulux paint matching guide.

Remember though that there was a significant amount of variance in the colours from the factory, due to a number of factors. If it is possible to have a spectra-thingy analysis of some un-faded part of the vehicle, that is likely to give a closer match. If there is no original colour left, then basically, as long as it is close it will be correct. If someone thinks it is a poofteenth too yellow, too red, too green, or whatever, it matters not.

Cheers,
Watto.

That's probably because I'm an old fart, and it is not considered PC these days.

Watto (having a decidedly un-PC day)

No Jess , a Smidge is a gnat's nut bigger than a smidgen , you'll tell someone to move something a smidge to the left , then go to the smaller increment and tell them it's a smidgen more :P
