Post subject: | Rear Trailing arms |
i have noticed on my mini that one rear wheel is about 1cm further out than the other. i have pulled rear subframe out to give it a freshen up, would the most likely cause of the rear wheel been out further on one side be a bent trailing arm pin? also noticed one side had 2 shims in and the other didn't, could that have also been the cause? |

Shims are often/sometimes used between the outer bracket and the subframe, to adjust to-in. But many cars have none. Adding them gives less toe-in (or more toe-out). |
