I have noticed that you don't use the front binnacle surround to mount it, why?

I'm not Doc, so apologies...but that's a lot of torque to put through 4 3/16 UNF spot welded nuts IMHO. And they are an odd pattern, easy to get out of alignment....but it would be nice when prepping to still be able to get to the engine bay crossmember if it doesn't have the rotisserie in the way...but its one of those little downsides I suppose.

Ideally, you want it to carry the entire weight of the vehicle so you can check your tyre treads without bending down.

You will need to remove any loose change from the ashtray.

If it's constructed correctly, it doubles as a way of 'baking' 2 pac paint.

It's not mine, it belongs to my local vet.
It's stronger mounting it this way.
Note the pole and bottom rail are in 2 pieces, it comes apart for easy transport. I brought it home in an EA sedan.

BTW, this car is `Redmond', the 850 recently featured in TME magazine.
Now done in the original Sunset Red.

any specs on construction/materials?

all steel 50mm x 3mm SHS, and 50x75 RHS x3mm uprights, except the main pipe- it was 5" water pipe.

Dr mini, stupid question maybe, but how do you get it up onto posts? lifted up by hand?

Also - how is the rear end attached? - looks like a plate over the rear seat hole - how it it secured?
