Can some one tell us the approximate weight of a standard mini engine gearbox clutch assembly with accessories (without subframe)?

Yep - I am almost 62 so my thought processes are still with the old language. I often say kilo when I mean lb or visa versa.

If someone tells me something is 30 cm long I have to physically measure it to know its a foot long.

So that would make the Twini about 800kg all up with the extra engine in the boot.

650 kg for an average mini.
150 kg for a complete donk.
So 800 kg's is about right in my mind, with 2 std 1098's making around 40 bhp at the wheels each, I'd say you need superchargers
