Nope, you roll up, you pays ure money and you takes ure plates.

Sunshine has the plates in house if that helps, some of the smaller places have to mail the plates out as they don't keep them in-stock.

You mightn't get the plates in time for Mini 50!

I turned up at opening time and walked straight up to the counter. I hate motor transport places no matter which state I'm in....

sean, give the scumbury office a call in the morning, see if they keep them in stock. knowing vicroads, you won't have your plates in a couple of weeks for the show!

Probably not that long....but I hate leaving anything to chance, particularly when it comes to roads authorities...

I think the best place to get them would be the Sunshine office its the main inner western office and usually have some available straight away, ordered from another office it becomes part of a group order and thats where the delay comes in, if in doubt call the Sunshine office to verify .

I did my last club rego at Werribee (cause I had an hour to kill out that way)

they didn't have plates on hand and told me just to keep the receipt and paperwork in the car and I'd be fine if I got pulled up

Did mine at Carlton. The tram ride from work to VicRoads took longer than getting the plates.
