http://www.minisport.com.au/prod61.htm who sells the cheapest Australian one. im told the Uk ones are crap. or would it be cheaper to get my old one Mk1 re done. |

Just fix the old one, it ain't rocket science. Most wear parts are available. Or, give to someone who has done them before. Like me (in Sydney) or TheMiniMan in Brissy. |

ok how much am i looking at? ill be honest, the current one in the car is fine but i just wanna get it recond or a new one. i don't have the time, to much music work on right now. i was told i should there is some work re-sleeving them etc etc? amongst other things. i'm sure it would be simple prob take 3 times the normal amount if i was to do it haha ![]() ![]() i would send it your way if i was in syd for sure! whats the going rate for it? |

i just put and brand new one in from minisport, so far its great, and gives me peace of mind ![]() i didnt know you could rebuild the old ones, but my old one was completely buggered tho. |

i was told today $330 to rebuild my old one from a random shop in brisbane! i was like crap! gold plated? can get them new for $210 from mini sport hehe. so a $100 sounds so sexy. yeh that mini sport one does look very sexy! |

i got the one from minisport a while ago. it has been fantastic so far - 5-6months in. had to undo the 4 subframe bolts etc etc. it fiddley to get ol one out and new one in because of small space. edit: my old one was too far gone to reco so thats why i got new one |
