Quick Release Battery Terminals

Great if you don't have a battery cover - no shorting out on the terminals by flying objests - Belt and braces protection if you do have a cover PLUS security feature by being able to quickly release and connect the battery lead hence cutting off supply. Supercrap have them for $13 something

Nice. Would they fit all battery terminal types? Might get them for my other car as well.

I've got these. They're great especially for those times when it seems you're constantly connecting, disconnecting and re-connecting the battery.

Only thing is I'm sure I paid roughly double that price. :? Got 'em at the boat shop.

Have you had a look at them yet David...I like the look of them and great when you want to work on the Electric's and also if you want another remote area for secuirity. Red and Black would have been perfect.
Super cheap pfft...Order them via the site better at half the price

Pulled them out of the packet tonight - they appear to be quite robust - very stiff but that is cause they are new and there is no cable attached that would help leverage. There are two half circle 'jaws' that are drawn together as the top is pushed down - come apart as you pull the plastic top up.

They say on tha pack "for Marine use" Calibre brand and manufactured and packed for SuperCheap - Made in Tiawan

they look like a good idea. my battery is always in and out as the mini goes un-used for some time and gets low or flat (stupid rover alarm drains it in no time!) so might have to look at getting some of these.
