Has anyone had problems when trying to fit superfin drum brakes no matter what you do they just will not go on? |

Are you talking about the studs grabbing up in the brake drum holes? or are you talking about the brake shoes being too big in diam??? This may be a silly question but have you made sure the brakes are fully un-adjusted & there`s no silly "packing" under the shoe-seats into the adjuster or cyls??? You may have "over-size" shoes fitted??? |

Hey miniman yeah the handbrake is off and brakes wound as far as poss but the drums just won`t go over the shoes. Tried old and new shoes but still no go have put the old drums back on for now and it took all of my self control not to launch the new ones into orbit. |

feel free to launch them in my direction - if you can put them into orbit, then you can make Wodonga 
just make sure the shoes fit properly in the drum with the drum on the floor.... I didn't have any problems fitting them - mine are Minisport superfins... |

measure them,,, they should be exactly 7-inches,,,

Thanks simon the set i bought are minisport superfins and i thought that they would just slide on but like nearly everything that i have ever bought for this car they don`t. Must be the joys of Mini ownership not to worry i will make them fit. |

Just measured and yes they are 7 inches i will try again tomorrow night and try to not get frustrated thanks guys. |

Be sure you don't have oversize brake shoes fitted. Doogie PS Simon, they fall out of the sky at Ingleburn, won't make Wodonga
