Yes thes manifolds were very popular in the seventys. The other version with the carby sitting at 90 degrees to this one flowed better. They were good for economy and also performance but mainly for small bores.

Cheers, Interesting, never seen a downdraught manifold for an A series before. But then again I wasn't even a twinkle in my old man's eye in the 70s :-P
