That really isnt that expensive. Suppose the engine and diffs would set you back a bit.

The rear diff and suspension is NA/NB series MX-5. If you go for the 1600CC, open centre diff version, then it will be cheap as chips. Get the Torsen LSD and you are up for a bit of $.

THe MX-5 rear end is over strong and heavy for the mini. I would reckon that re-making the wishbones from tube could save lots of weight.

Hmmm, I know someone with an NA 1.6 mx5. Going to be upgrading to an lsd soon, might have to take it off his hands then.
