You're pulling the piss right ![]() ![]() As Simon said above, flip your centre pipe over. The RC40 goes diagonally from the center of the subframe to the back corner. |

The extractors or engine pipe (should be on a slight angle) from the manifold comes down the drivers side of the diff housing and the exhaust runs down the drivers side of the gearbox selector and the 2nd bend runs sort of (actually below) into the tunnel just behind the selector, just after the rear subframe it bends again and the muffler is on an angle towards the passenger rear cornerand the exit pipe has the mount at the back of the subframe attached to it.......... Vote 1 to turn it over. |

you mean angle as in off center or as in angle cross the body line!? my extractors are drivers side as described and straight in terms of body line. Is it correct or should extractor come cross the bodyline(basically mine are parrallel with the body after the down bend) |

Turn the muffler over 180 degrees. Cheers Pete |

Gareth, Start by taking the muffler off the pipe. That bend at the front where it joins the extractors shouldn't be there. The length between the last bend and the muffler is also too long. Without the muffler on, it will be much easyer to handle, offer the pipe up and see where it sits. the pipe may be long enough that you can cut that first bend, you have circled, off and join straight into the collector at the bottom. Note that the bend at the back of the pipe where it goes into the muffler should end up pointing at the pasanger side rear corner of the car, then the muffler is fited diagonaly across the car with the bend in the tail pipe straightening it up. Looks that same as the one i bought for mine, i found i had to trim the exhaust and it fits great after that. so maybe look at cutting it on the exhaust side? |
