 Post subject: Dizzy question

i have a pulsar d4r83 dizzy which i sent up to grahram russell to modify the curve, at the time i had a 1098

now i am going to a 1293 do you think the dizzy will have to be rucurved? or just chuck it in.

Ask Graham. I think for 1098s he takes both light springs out, and for a 1275 he takes 1 light spring out. The centrifugal advance plate degrees is about the same for both, 9° or so.
I would try it first like it is, but if it pings just above idle put one light spring back in.

Doc,,, there`s only 2 springs in there,,, ????

Nope there are 4 springs. There are 2 light and 2 heavy. Inside each other. :wink:

is this the same for a 29d, i have one in pieces ready to rebuild, and when it was taken apart, one light spring on one side, and one heavy spring on the other, only two springs all up.
