A guide I followed except for one step (the reamer set up)
Because I didn’t have the guide shaft I had to improvise.
I set up the reamer in the lathe chuck. (make sure reamer runs true)
Set the Tailstock up so it slides without movement on the bed.
At this stage you will need a buddy to guide tailstock to keep tailstock centre in the radius arm.
Make sure the reamer is set so it enters the bronze bush(light cuts only) the reamer can generate a lot of grip.
Keep fingers clear. I used the tool post to rest the arm whilst sliding along the reamer.
Slowest Speed on the lathe
Keep reaming (small cuts) till shaft is nice sliding fit.
