Post subject:  Mini K Factory Colours??
I was wondering [hoping!] that I could find or put together a list of original colours that the late Mini Ks [Clubby door handles] Came out in. Colour charts or even pics of original cars would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance for your contributions!!

My 12/70 K with burst proof doors was originally Zircon White. Sorry, no pics, now green.

mine is also zircon white, but i think it might have been resprayed to a more cream white and i have touched it up in places, seems a hard color to photograph because in some light it looks greenish but here is some links to mine in different light http://boothehamster.deviantart.com/art/50-Years-Young-127961953

Go to http://www.elevenhundred.com/morris1500/colours.php and look at any colour name for 1971. (the colours in this site are only a rough guide)
Then get the colour name and do a search on Ausmini.

I did notice the colour seemed to have a greenish tinge to it.

How come they are called Clubby door handles when they were used on the K (and S and Vans) before the Clubman? :P

The Morris 1500 got them in 1969, so they are really Morris 1500 handles. :mrgreen:

I found a pic on google of a Tamarisk Green Mini K. What do you think?? I like it mainly because it reminds me of some of the earlier 850 colours - Chartreuse, Saxon, Porcelain green etc etc. Doesn't seem too common a colour for Mini K though :-)
