Hey all. After seeing a few minis at the show ( which was a great event btw) on the weekend with 13's ive decided to go the same way... I think.... I know that for 13x7's to fit the guards have to be cut but just wondering if anyone can tell me if any body mods are needed to fit 13 x 5.5 or 13 x 6's?????????? Going on a 1275 LS which will be as low as possible with hi los.... Cheers... |

If you want to run really low, body mods will be needed. Rim width makes jack all difference, since the only tyre size you will get is 175-50 R13 then you have to go on that. If the car runs higher then mods may not be needed. |

Hmmmmm... Would have thought that the offset of the 13x7's would make a big differance..??????? |

i would have thought that a 13 x 7 would touch heaps more thsan a 13 x 5.5 because the offset on the 13x7 would be a lot more |

175/50 13 is what you want. Those tyres will fit from 5.5 to 7 inch rims, though the 7 inch is a stretch. |

![]() that's got a lot of height in the suspension, any lower at the front and it would rub I reckon you should drive a car on 13"s before you go putting them on |

Try Frankston Tyrepower, they've always been able to find stuff for me. Toby at mini spares and repairs has some new Simex 175/50/13s in stock too I think. |
