So im sitting on the river front talking to a couple of girls travelling, also from queensland, lots of P platers hooning around thinking they are cool when they arent.

a BINI pulls up about 20 metres away.

I wave and start walking towards the car, they drive off. They do a u turn and stop across the road from where they were before, i again go to walk up to them, and then they drive off.

Copper looking BINI with writing down the side, too dark to read what it was, but looked like business writing.

If you are an ausmini member, wtf didnt you come and say hello, and if not wtf is wrong with Mildura people.

Steve they have a river which is three times saltier than the sea, it has hardly enough flow, its full of carp, the local economy relied on irrigated crops like oranges, some bright sparks in government allowed foreign orange pulp in, so nearly all the orange tree's were ripped out, they were replaced by miles and miles of grapes which didnt like the salty water, the local economy has long given up any hope of prosperity, a transient population of labourers/pickers whose only outlet is drugs and alcohol, a large percentage of the local population in the queue outside CenterLink, State and Federal Government who wont make any meaningful investment, all this added together means the place is a hole, a hole with nice sunny weather, a hole with scenery, but a hole none the less.

Hahahaha you hit the nail on the head.

They must be drinking the water as well.

I drove past the centrelink and the queue went out the door and down the street and that was at 8.30 in the morning.

Id still like to know why a fellow mini owner wouldnt come over and say hello, i almost had the feeling they were going to follow me and then attempty to pinch my car.

To bed its my pommy caraven for the time being hahahahahahaha

same thing again today, except a white BINI with yellow writing, went to approacg the owner, and he sped off.

Damn half city folk already been brainwashed, you should see them in the park, if someones kids are playing on one playset, the parents will take their kids to another playset and stay seperated.

FEAR EACH OTHER. DO AS YOUR TOLD.

One lady said right in front of me to her kids, dont talk to the man. What has society become.

Steve you have to be careful, wandering around a park in a raincoat with a bag of lollies is not a good way to start a conversation

I can't believe this, your expecting BINI owners to be normal or enthusiastic about their cars heritage   (sorry Brett but you have classic mini's so you don't count).
