Simon - YouTube says the video is private so I can't view it. Do you need to do something to make it public? |

I couldn't get either link to work, so haven't watched it yet. However, Urchie's ex-Works Mini worth a cool 1/4 Million? That's probably not too far off the mark - to the right person. consider that an ex-Works car went for over 100,000 pounds in the UK 2 years ago, which at the time was equal to about $250,000 and that's probably where they got that figure from. OK, so prices have dropped since the global money bubble burst, but Urchie's car is considerably more genuine than that car in the UK - which was the typical re-shell with "period correct" parts, but the original registration number and chassis plate. A genuine ex-Works Mini with less history than Graeme's car sold recently for 76,000 pounds, which on today's exchange rate is around $160,000 Give it another couple of years for the economy to rebound, and dollar to slump again, and you could easily push $250,000 for something with genuine and verifiable history. So, back to the question at hand - how do I get either video to work? On the photobucket page nothing happens, until I minimise the screen, then I can hear it playing but have no picture. Re-open the page and the film clip stops again. On Youtube my computer timed out before it had even found the clip, and when I did a search on Mini 50 Melbourne there were no results with anything to do with Minis. Has Youtube changed formats recently and completely stuffed up their search engine, or am I just a klutz? Cheers, Watto. |

Watto, I've fixed the YouTube clip -- I didn't de-select the 'private' checkbox when I uploaded it ![]() |
