Take plug out, dry it and the hole in tank, put some Loctite 242 on it and screw back in.
Unusual for it to leak there though. I would look see you don't have a pinhole somewhere and it's just dripping off the plug as it's the lowest point.

hi I checked my petrol tank when i bought it, i guess you would say it is ever so slowly seeping out of the bolt on the bottom of the tank of the van. could there be some sort of washer missing? or a grommet of some sort to stop the seeping. it's very small but still i would love to know how to fix it. tah |

yeh i did check. you can see it pooling around the nut. i checked all over the tank does not seem to be coming from anywhere else.
