I have a set of twin 1/1/4 SU carbs on my motor and the plugs keep fouling up. I have had tried several plug brands including NKG BP6ES & BP5ES all to no avail. The car is blowing a blacky blue smoke and smells fumey. Could this be valves not correctly adjusted? What should I be looking at? The motor is a 1275. Any help or trouble shooting please. |

If the exhaust smells fuelly, you're blowing soot and the plugs foul up easily then you've got your mixture too rich. |
