i am about to start my clubman project and some of my ideas are fitting aholden barina/suzuki swift dash, fibreglass flip front and a supercharged 998 does anyone know what needs to be engineered in wa and how do i get things engineered

Definitely need engineering approval for a composite flip front.

Go to the Dept of Planning & Infrastructure web site:
http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/licensing/1412.asp
and submit the modification permit for approval before you start.
You will need additional bracing to the front of the subframe for them to even consider it, and they can give you a list of recognised automotive engineers.

engineer in queensland basically said to me its not worth it. 9 times out of 10 it wont be road legal. Not that i was going to do it anyway, but i was asking questions as i do.
