Does anyone know if you can get chains to fit

I dont think they are available any more, I have 1 set to fit 10' wheels and 3 sets to fit 12' wheels,

I found them to rent in a few places - most of them look at you funny, or say "jeez, chains for 10 inch wide tyres... hmmm" :lol:

I heard a horrible rumour that if you drive a mini through the snow, and the nice warm sump sits in the snow while your driving along, there is a possibility that the alloy sump can crack :roll: :roll: :roll: ....any truth in that rumour...

It has happened a few times in Good Old Pommie Land....
