Got my latest package from the UK, which included a set of bonnet stripes.

They're the type of sticker that has a top and bottom peel off.

Anyone got tips for application? I seem to remember something about sign writers and a spray bottle of soapy water? am i on the right track?

any suggestions (for applying stripes!) welcomed.

cheers.

A light mist of soapy water will give you a few seconds to position the stickers. Window cleaners can work too but some types may attack the glue on the sticker. You can also use a plastic bog applicator to 'iron' out any air bubles by running it along the length of the stripe, before your water dries out.

My mate does window tinting and I imagine it would be a similar process. He just prays water on and tint slides around for best psition. If you don't have bog applicator use a credit card.

For the second time since wanting the strips ;)

To put our company logo on cars we just use water, and don't peel the whole sticker off, do it bit by bit, definately a 2 perso, job at leats.

Post pics when they're on!

my tint guy at the mazda workshop used palmolive washing up liquid and water in a spray bottle to do the tint and a squegee to get all the bubbles out. you can slide it around. Dont do it on a rainy day, and leave it to dry for 24 hours so that the sticker glue can set hard.

DONT use alot of washing up liquid. Just a small amount to make the water slippery.
