I bought 3 early type seals- Karcraft- can't close the boot, even with the wife's help. ![]() Heritage MG- even harder, Buckley's chance of closing the boot. ![]() Minisport SA, YAY, it closes! ![]() I believe MiniKing have soft ones now as well. ![]() The problem is twofold- rubber hardness, and the hole size and location in the rubber. Locally made seals appear to be NFG. |

IMO - get them custon made. go to an auto rubber store and show them your old seals and mroe often than not they can give you the same rubber sold by the metre |

The only ones I found soft enough were both UK imports. The hard ones were locally sourced. If the stuff in the rubber store is any harder than your old one, I'd leave it there... ![]() |

Yep, agree with Kev Got mine from Mini King (John) even the clips fit (no glue used) Boot still is hard to close but can be done. After a while the rubber compresses and settles and it becomes easier. Hope this helps Steve |

For information. Our boot seals are now the soft type (and have been for some time). For the last 31 years we have only ever purchased these from the UK. At present they are sourced from the manufacturer who supplies MG Rover. ![]() |
