Anybody suggest somebody that has new gearbox gears for a new cluster i want to put together. UK is about $AU880 not including postage. Mini Sport want $1500 for the same set. Im after pricing on 4 synchro set (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 1st Motion 4th), including 1/2 selecter and 3/4 selector gears. |

Haha funny you should mention Steve at MiniWorx. I spent the day there today going through every single gear in the whole workshop, sorted out two and half buckets into there individual gears and double checked them all. So he has a nicely sorted out gearbox selection in different trays now. But nothing that would be better than what i already have in the car. Hence looking towards putting money aside for a new cluster. |

haha yeh cool.. he had to send me a laygear. might have got the last good one. lucky ![]() he got much stuff around? ill be there on the 30th of august I'm going to check out what ever random crap he still has. try ebay Uk? i find alot of stuff there that's good. sort you out with a solid 2nd hand lot, make sure it is a solid seller, there is heaps i have looked loads of times. like jonspeed etc. some times it cheaper to get the lots posted, put it this way i can get a engine posted for $350 pounds. i cant see it being much, even if they sent you say the case then other parts in postal bags, look into it. that guess works guy in uk is the guru of mini gearbox's, he has a website email him. www.guess-works.com or try miniplus or mini imports loads of rovers for aus. |
