hey well i am in need of a new gear box now i have a all syncro box which has a chance of jumping out of 2nd what i want to no is am i able just to replace the gear that was worn or do i have to replace all the gears in the box ? |

with any gearbox do the lot or it gets expensive in the long run ie stuffed box and eng. if the gears are ok, then new brgs, and seals . check the syncro rings for clearance or replace. Replace the springs in the two selector hubs as well |

you could replace one gear. But then theres a very high chance youll have to rip the whole lot out again to replace the next broken bit you were to tight to fix when you had the chance. |

Oh ok because the syncro is the only thing worn out |

you will probably find that when you strip the box to do the second syncro ring , there will be plenty of other worn out things like brgs etc. It could turn into a major rebuild so be prepared for it |
